after changing some euros and did some sainburys shopping, me, eewen, val and lu went to meet jed, jinye and jac for dinner at leicester sq. on the tube, we talked abt a bomb tat went off in front of an italy police station, and the probability of it happening again in a week's time is pretty small (hopefully), and how we being in london is not much safer, and the fact tat we r on the tube is even more dangerous.. ChOy!! *ToUcHwOod*

right, so when we met them, we went to the malaysian coffeeshop. but it's closed. so decide to settle for misato~ when we r abt to get there, we saw an area in front of us being 'surrounded' by the police 'ribbon' (wat do u call tat huh..) and some pple in red t-shirt chasing pple away from there. we tried to make our way in and was told tat there's a 'unknown package' there. gOsh.. tis is like the first time i get out of south kensington in so many weeks and it has to happen to me?? so we hurriedly left the place as far as possible while trying to laugh it off.. finally settled for a hong kong restaurant somewhere we tink is sufficiently far enough from that place.

while waiting for our food, sirens from police car can b heard and a fire engine stopped right in front of us on the street opposite. so we aren't tat safe either... we are just beside the leicester sq tube station!! *pAniCk*

but of cos.. nothing happened lah.. *pHeW* so we moved on to watch the musical, chicago!! well, i didn't watch the movie so didn't have any expectations. although it didn't create a very great impact in me bcos the pace is not as fast and the prop is not as good as phantom of the opera, the cast is also not as huge as les miserables, the storyline is not as light-hearted as mamma mia, and basically the sounds are not tat LOUD literally.. the songs are good(even though i dun usually listen to jazz), the story line is good(those who watched the movie would know), and it's the first time i'm sitting in the stall!! hee... enjoyed the musical. shall d/l the movie and watch soon. ;)

haha... juz finished packing my stuff and had the same check list as eewen and hanwen. so if anione of us miss out aniting, it'll b the 3 of us. haha... will leave the hall at 615 later. hopefully it'll b an enjoyable trip. (rain rain go away... come again another day...)

spent yesterday tidying my table. it is time for me to clear the table so that i've space to put my notes and tutorials to study. finally, although the table doesn't look much neater, at least now there's a space for writing. not bad.. at least there's smtg to 'motivate' me to study when i return from my italy trip.

yes.. so fast. hols is here and i'm going to italy tml~!! we seemed to have plan the trip onli a few weeks ago and it still seems so unreal that tml is the starting of our one week trip. from rome to florence, piza and venice. the weather these few days seems to be fine, sunny and not too cold. fantastic! hope to haf a realli good time..

called him just now juz to 'bid farewell'. intend to put down the phone after telling him abt it so that it wun disturb his study. but it dragged on for a little while. mayb i shudn't haf called him in the first place. esp when i'm not in my hyper happy mode. it didn't turn out to be a very happy conversation - my sad mode makes the entire conversation moody too. dArN.. stupid me *slap* hopefully it wun affect him concentrating on his studying for exam. UrrRgh.. so angry with myself. ='(

after turning the time an hour forward, the sun sets even later. we can still see a little sunlight even at 8pm. guess that's wat i really need now - sunlight - esp when there's no sch. i used to like the night more than the day. but my homesick seems to have set in real bad, worse when it's night time. i dun like night time now. feel so lonely.. feel tat the time pass so slowly.. mayb it's lovesick and not homesick, or mayb both. perhaps after i start to concentrate on my studying then time will pass faster.

will be watching the chicago musical tonight with jed, jingye, eewen, lu, jac and val. initially didn't intend to go bcos after listening to the soundtracks of chicago thru i-tunes and also during the performance by the musical theatre society, i realize i dun like them. but so many of them are going, wat if i suddenly decide to watch it but couldn't find anyone to go with then? so i visited the website www.chicagothemusical.com and explored ard. finally decide to go along. hope it'll b interesting.

today is the starting of daylight-"wasting"!! heh.. didn't realize tat until jeftor remind me at 1:30am, which means it was oredi 2:30am!! UrGh.. tat means 1 hr of sleep less. =( spoil my plan of sleeping at 2 after watching alice in wonderland! heehee... coincidentally lu was also watching sleeping beauty! cartoon season~ heh heh..

got up at 10:30am today for a jog in hyde park. yes.. u din read wrongly. i went to jog again! haha... of cos i didn't initiated it although i feel like losing some fats. =P it's the same party of 4. this time we started running straight from the hall and took a slightly different route. we finished the 'run' faster tis time i guess? but, i stopped quite a number of times. =( my stupid stitch again. *uSeLeSs* but at least tis time i dun feel tat bad cos i didn't get giddy. =) once again, thanx guys for slowing down and waiting and even ended up walking with me. PaiSeh pAisEh!

supposed to tidy my table and notes today so tat i can start work straight away after my italy trip. but seems like i shall put tat to tml.. will continue watching family guy or southpark!! hee~

yesterday night i went to four seasons for dinner! yUmMy.. was only expecting the pple in the EE revue play. but when i finally get to the table, why are there so many unfamiliar faces?? looks like there are many fren's frens and fren's fren's fren ard. so eventually, we created a record of 18 pple!! sitting at that 'usual' table tat i'm so used to. record sia~ we haf to resort to each person sitting on 3/4 of a chair, cos the chairs are oredi sticking together side by side, cant add anymore. yup... so tat's how 18 pple eat at one table. was relatively cheaper than usual though, 9 pounds each onli~ =)

after tat, i followed the gang to UCL's drink the bar dry event. was sooooo boring... zz.. it's so different from wat i expected. the room is small, no dance floor, so smoky! *cHOkE*, even the alcohol has run out. right.. the bar IS dry after all. so after dilly dalling for ONE HOUR!, we decide to chill out at zhicheng's house instead.

basically we spent the time crapping, eating viennetta ice cream!! woOohOo!!! hafen had tat since pri sch~~ (yes yes.. i know i'm deprived of it..) while zhicheng focus on the 'MFA bonding' with his future colleague. duno how many glasses of 40% whiskey he made hanwen(not the IC hanwen) drink... gOsh! HoRriGible LeH!! in the end, he K.O.-ed peacefully and slept like a log. his poor victim felt so uncomfortable and kept vomitting for almost an hour (or izit more?) b4 he felt ok enough to sleep. sigh...
but the farnie ting is: zhimin not onli 'scolded' zhicheng and asked him to tink of the two words - 'bao ying' (retribution) in his sleep, she 'directed' the shot marvin took of him sleeping!!! even in his sleep he oso haf to give a cheeky smile~ hahha... in the end got home at 3am. dEngZ..

today woke up at 10am. cos we r going to hyde park to fly kite!! wOOoOhoOoO!! know wat? tis is my FIRST time flying kite~!! so exciting! the temperature is still AlRigHt.. but there's like.. NO WIND. one of the rare not windy days in london. sigh... marvin commented tat i cant get the kite above my head. tHaNx aRh~ of cos u cant believe him lah! i did manage to fly the kite to quite high, to tink tat i onli haf a few mins crash course from youwei and there's no wind today, it's a feat oredi!! heh.. i've evidence of it too! jac took a video (or MTV?? =P ) of me while flying kite... hiAkZ..

yAy... so fun to fly kite... when i return to spore i muz go marina south or east coast to fly kite again!! AnYoNe iNteREsTed?? =)

yAy! 'holiday' started!! no more sch for me..haha.. to tink tat i'll b going off to italy next wed! sO fASt!! okok.. charlotte and gang going off for their trip tml.. even faster...

yesterday was quite 'eventful'. first there's the Malaysian Soc election which begins (supposedly) from 1pm all the way to 7:30pm. ConGraTs to all those who r elected!! =) then there was a party (not the balloons kind lah.. juz an event that's all) in linstead bar. amar and lu took part in the table soccer competition while me and alex, not wanting to loiter ard the lower gallery just WATCHING pple play, took part as well...

alex and i were playing against alex's neighbour and his fren in the first match. we lost 4-6, with a 'own goal' from me. *pAisEh* then in our second match, we played against who else but 'da tou mei nao' and karim. sigh... their playing style is so different from the fast and bouncing-here-and-there style which i'm so used to. they played slow and steady, everything under control. so.. it wasn't fun at all. =( of cos, we lost tis game too. but tat's still alrite... wat's farnie is the fact tat for lu and amar's team, they were against soha and her fren(sorry i duno his name..) for both matches. in the first match, lu and amar keep scoring until they scored 6 goals then lu 'slowed down' his reflex. however in the second match, he '4got' to warm up and lost by 3-7. quite a surprising and wasted outcome... but still, it's all in the name of fun lah~ who cares..

after tat, i had mee sua!! wOOhOoo.. thanx to the sponsorship from alex. =D tat is around 10:30pm.. we had them to 'prepare' for the drinking session later on in the night to celebrate amar's bdae. i cant believe we bought 60pounds worth of alcohol!! gosh.. they r realli for the idea of making amar drunk arh! so.. one by one, we toast amar. the guys had pure shots, while some girls have mixture of alcohol and lemonade while some girls have a PURE shot of lemonade! =P oh, i broke my record~! i had 3 shots of alcohol!! haha.. all in mixtures though. 2 shots of absolute vodka with lemonade and 1 shot of navy rum with coke. hmm.. still prefer a pure shot of lemonade... so, the toasting goes on and on.. amar threw up after 14shots, continued for another 9 shots(after dilly dallying) and finally refused to continue with the challenge. had a bite at his favourite krispy kream though! heh.. wonder if he remembers...

so... wat's next is the presentation of his present!! at a height of 150cm and an ugly look, we placed his 'inflatable' present on his bed and bring him to his room. his reaction was very unexpected and disappointing though. he started to deflate it~ darren got it out of the room (so tat some pple can blow it to shape again..) and ask us to get out of the room so tat amar can get some sleep (and feel the ceiling swirling..) but when we try to get the re-inflated present into his room, we couldn't cos amar refused to open his locked door. realli dun understand y... izit bcos he's drunk? or, wat he says dun coincides with wat he do in reality? still, we got back to our room disappointingly at 2:30am.

need to start drawing my sketch book now. still haf 2/3 of the book more to go...

the feeling of going to sch onli at 12pm is good!!! haha... my lecture forever starts at 9am or 10am, onli this week is special cos all our lectures ended!! wOoHOo..

sigh... last week's weather was sOoO good, can juz wear two layers and the wind is cooling! but this week it's back to the freezing three layers days again.. =( and today it actualli hailed! i was walking from MDH to mech eng building when suddenly it "rained". but looking at the "raindrops" on my jacket, they looked like little ice cubes! very small cubes though, of 0.5cm. amazed! never tot i would see hails in london cos snow is rare enough.

after the last tutorial of the day, i went to huiyuan's apartment for our EOTC (end of term celebration). cooking took us.. erm, 3 hrs? but the food was gooood!! 1 big pot of seafood curry consisting of scallops, mussels, hoki fish, prawns... 2 smaller pots of chicken curry... 1 plate of cai pok egg fried out of 15 eggs... 1 plate of kang kong in belachan... and of cos, bauggette to go along with the curry!! yUmMy.. after that, we had dao suan thanx to diona! and 2 pints of haagen dazs ice cream with baileys! hmmm... had such a full(and high cholestrol) meal that my sunday's run has gone to waste totally... heh~

returned to the hall onli near midnight to c that the dining hall is very lively!! haha.. jac and amar were fencing, alex playing RPG version of supermario?, and lu juz watching the fun. there were oso a group of pple playing mahjong and another few singing (or izit chanting?) while playing the guitar. wondered how did ziming and two other koreans managed to concentrate in their studying in this sort of environment.

felt realli weird when amar passed me the sabre(or izit the foil?) and asked me to hit him hard on his head!(with the helmet on of cos..) hmm.. realli cant bear to hit anione on their head even though they said he cant realli feel the impact with tat fencing helmet on. yet they keep pushing me to do it... i din succeed lah. hit a few times quite softly and tat's all i can do. =P last but not least, of cos, we ended the night with table soccer! *hOokEd*

yAy.. tml no lectures again! intending to skip the onli lesson - maths tutorial. shud i go for MSoc's AGM to watch the supposedly 'interesting' election?

woke up earli in the morning to collect linstead newspapers to realize that someone collected them oredi! urgh.. shudn't haf woke up so earli then. still, since i'm oredi awake, i went for the 9am lecture. haha.. tat's the first time i went for tat lecture this term. and it's gonna b the last time! in the end it's just a repeat of previous lectures, nothing new. so i fell asleep thru the lecture again. didn't gain anything... wat a waste of sleep and time.

after tat during my maths lecture, i did smtg i've never done b4. i was sleeping and dreaming and suddenly duno y, i swing my left hand towards chihyang, who was on my left also sleeping, and hit him. obviously tat 'impact' woke both of us up. haha... i was sOoO surprised and amused by myself. this is realli the first time i have any 'action' while sleeping. dun ask me wat dream i had, i was so shocked tat i 4got liao.. haha!

sigh... yesterday i still tot i onli haf 2 more coursework to hand in by this week. today then i realize i haf to hand in 4!! gosh... cannot slack so much liao. haf been slacking too much these few days.. =(

I finally created my own blog! oh well... it isn't intentional actually. it started all bcos i wanted to find a place to load my fotos so tat my family and friends can view them easily. and jonathan suggested tripod.com. so here i come... after signing up, i realize there's a 'create ur blog' site. and so, my blog is borned! haha...

first blog... wat shud i say?

right, shall comment on my deteriorating fitness. having not exercised ever since JC2 napha, today i went for a run with valerie, lu and jed in hyde park. didn't intend to run too far cos i know i cant make it. but.. the 3 of them ran slowly beside me(at their slowest speed) to accompany me. *tOuChed* how can i let them down? so i ran(or mayb dragged and 'walked') with them all the way. jed said we ran ard 1.8km. though i 'completed' the journey, i still let them down lah... sigh... ran slower and slower cos of my stupid stitch and dizzy head. i'm realli very weak now. and after all the sweating and stuff, we "loitered" in front of tat statue(er.. duno wat it's called) and faced the very strong wind. immediately after i get back to my room after tat, i began to sneeze and sneeze and sneeze. gosh.. i've caught a cold! cant believe i'm so prone to falling sick! still, that's wat happened and my nose started running. ='(

i am so 'sick' i cant do ani work. so watched 'monsters inc'! the little girl is sooooo cute!!!!! seems so real.. yup, then slept for a little while after the show n wake up to realize it's exactly 6:30pm, the time we r supposed to meet for dinner! rushed down to the foyer just in time. phew~ haha... cos i din eat much yesterday and today, so i not onli had the xing zhou chao mian, i shared a plate of sweet and sour pork rice with lu too! woooo...sAtiSfieD!! hafen had a good meal for very long..

9am lecture tml. guess i shud sleep soon...

~PaNiC~

panic - HUmPh! the internet connection is so screwed up recently i cant even blog when i want to! >:( haf to wait for so so long b4 the server can get thru.. and then, the stupid page will load halfway and stop. the stupid icq oso cant work when i need to use it. aaarGh... trying to drive me crazy!

panic - finally tried the past yr paper. oh boy.. i cant do a single question at all!! yes.. i cant even do one, literally. and when i try to even write down smtg in hope of getting method marks (pretending i'm really sitting for exam), i couldn't even start! panic!!

panic - went to clinic tutorial for the first time, hoping to get some 'cure' from the tutor. uRgH.. only then i know soo many pple haf oredi tried many papers and even completed many questions! and they r the brits whom i've never seen them study so hard b4!! seems like i'm now lagging even further behind them... not good!! and i end up having to queue up again and again so as to ask for the solution to all the questions in the paper i tried. and tat's only one paper. panic!!

panic - i'm not disciplined again. spend 3 hrs in amar's room talking rubbish and wasting my life, watching alex play tennis, and everyone had a go at the 'move-cursor-up-and-down-while-clicking-the-left-click-sometimes' game. haha... failed for my first 2 try and got a pretty decent score in my 3rd try! :p got to taste the coffee from mar-bucks too~ not bad!!

panic - and did i mention i watched more episodes of xun qin ji?? aAaRgH.. oredi tell myself to stop watching as i really haf no time left but i simply cant resist the temptation... even the theme song keeps repeating in my head. its attraction is too great.. too tempting... and GU TIAN LE IS SO SHUAI!!!! oh man.... *mELteD*

panic - accounting is in 2 days and i hafen started studying for it.

panic - tat's the only word that can describe me now.
