night bike hikei literally slept the whole sunday away... 12pm-8pm. hahaha... PIG! >_<
but, it's not without a good reason! i went for the bike hike last night!!! wOohOooo! it was great fun! having not cycled for duno how many donkey years, i was really a little apprehensive abt whether i can survive the whole journey. in the past when i saw pple cycling along the streets, i felt that they can cycle so well lar!! the little bumps/obstacles on the pavement or the cars and buses speeding past them on the road didn't daunt them at all!! if i were them i would have lost control oredi man! that's y i am sooo proud that i completed the whole bike hike!!! *beam* *grin* heehee... i finally can say i've cycled on the roads of Singapore at night!!!! hahahahaha... -_-" but i must agree, the path we took was actually of not much challenge... for the garang ones. NOT ME!! >_<
haha... we ate alot along the way... from the ECP food centre, there's the BBQ chicken wings, stingray and sugar cane drink... from Joo Chiat, 'five stars' chicken rice recommended by Justin and bat kut teh.... from Geylang, the beef hor fan, dao huay and you tiao, as well as a little preview of what the even lorongs are like.... and finally Lao Pat Sat, fried oysters and cheng teng!!! YuMmY!!! haha... and for anyone interested in watching sun rise, the one fullerton Merlion area is soo beautiful it shouldn't be missed!!! sooo nice... the only regret is that we have no camera with us then, cos the photographer went home to sleep liao... >_< so... sigh, too bad lor... no photos. =(
cycling at night with that little traffic really makes the journey very enjoyable i would say. it's as though the roads had become the cyclist path at east coast!! so wide somemore!! and... with no other unknown cyclists around wheezing pass u... k lar, very very few... heehee!
the last stretch was fun too! haha... fun for me as i watched the guys bumped into each other's bikes and sometimes 'almost falling off'.. =P but of cos they can control their bikes so much better lar... i'm sure they had lotsa fun!! ;) and with the sun rising so quickly (the rising is actually visible!!! not just milli-milli-metre per second kind!!), only gently brightening up the city... it was a very peaceful feeling as we cycle and looked at the skyline... lovely!
the last stretch was the longest stretch as we cycled non-stop from Esplanade back to East Coast. By then, my thighs were oreadi damn tired... but somehow it has reached the peak of its aching that i only felt numbness and actually dun feel anithing if i pedalled continuously.
yeah! really enjoyed myself even though i was the onli girl left (2 didn't turn up, 1 end up taking the car and left halfway...) haha... the only thing is that... i felt very paiseh for making the guys wait for me and help me for example at times when we have to carry the bicycle up the stairs... >_< yupyupyup... thankew! and oso, credits to chongwai & edwin for recce-ing (?) the places the week b4 in the night, making sure the route is safe and viable. well done!! ^^

s-i-a-n-zpaiseh.... but, i'm sianz. so sianz that i dun feel like blogging at all.... hmm... ya.
other than slacking... basically i'm still slacking. haha... and did a little bit of shopping. but it's the same as last year when i said in london that i would do alot of shopping when i fly back to singapore... and in the end i didn't realli buy alot. >_< so, yalah. it didn't help much when i am so adjusted since the day i touched down that i immediately switch back to using sing dollars without any pound conversion. yeah.
hmm... the onli constructive, relatively constructive, thing that i did was... *drumroll* i finished reading The Da Vinci Code!!!!!! finally. *paiseh* i took DAAMN long lar... but, on accounts tat the last long english story book i read was in Pri 6, i guess it's excusable lar hor... =P wow... i must say it's veryvery interesting. i love all the twists and the solving of the puzzles... and i cant believe that everything in the thickthick book took place in just 2 days!!! gosh... i could never imagine how anione can write so much stuff for things tat happened in just 1 or 2 days and yet is interesting enough to capture the reader's attention. imagine if u are the character in the book... what an EXCITING life u must have led!! but... k lar, i admit i wouldn't want to be Langdon or Sophie. I would die of heart attack. Or mayb... die of stupidity cos i would not have reacted or thought of what to do like what the two of them did. They were so clever!
sigh... less and less ppl updating blogs, yours truly included. but my frequency of blog reading didn't realli decrease much. so... getting sian-er and sian-er online... plus the fact that my bro always get to use the internet during the 'golden hours' (ard 10pm - 12am lidat), so.... bleah. basically tat's y most of the time, mainly in the afternoon, even though u saw me on msn, i was in the 'away' mode. cos i was realli away in the living room watching any random shows that seemed to be interesting at that point of time. haha...
i tink i'm beginning to not make sense. getting sleepy liao.... zzzzz.... goodnight for now! before i realli stop making sense! heehee....
