ShamelessnessAfter having worked for so many years, it still annoys me when people shrinks away from taking on responsibilities, especially those that
secretly volunteered to be a back-bencher while being so active on the front suggesting ideas and initiatives! How shameless is that!
This is the kind of people that gets on my nerves. Always dependent on others to do the work for them, taking zero initiative. If they are genuinely clueless about how to go about doing it, that's fine. I am happy to take the lead and do the work. But they should at least show their interest and offer their services in whatever way they can. This is after all their idea, and they are the most enthusiastic one, isn't it? But no, they will go around happily yelping away throwing ideas and pushing everyone else to implement their suggestion, yet when it is time for someone to step up and take on some responsibilities, simply kept quiet and stand at the back conveniently, not moving an inch nor make any sound despite any nudges. It just blows my mind away how thick-skinned these people can get.
I wish I could express my disgust at this kind of people straight in their faces. But I can so imagine their reaction - just an indifferent shrug and continue with what they are doing. Driving me even madder. Shamelessness is indeed a powerful tool.
