Am I missing smtg?have been reading friend's friend's blogs again... most of them are now studying in Singapore, mostly NUS. And reading abt their lives, their daily activties, their woes, their joys make me feel very... out of place. It seems like i'm missing out so much so much... seems like i no longer belong to the group of people i used to be in.
When i was young, studying in pri or sec school, watching how university life is like from TV dramas, I always felt that the uni students are all grown ups and have so much fun. They would give tuitions or do part-time jobs to earn pocket-money, have fun chilling out with their hallmates gossiping abt everybody, study earli into the morning with their coursemates during exam period, go out to play and have fun, take part actively in all sort of CCAs, and of course are either wooing or being wooed agressively, or trying to hide any one-way feelings, or falling in love with their good friends without realizing. And and and, there is also the big big campus where the rich young man would drive around to impress the girls. These are the very things we always watch from TV serials isn't it? And I would always think university is still quite far away in my life, and 20 years old seems to be pretty far away too... never really gave it much thought actually.
Even now, being a 20 year old, i realize i still haven't given it much thought. Maybe i did, but not in the way i used to think. Being in university doesn't seem to be the same as i used to think it would be. I don't feel as grown up, I don't feel as fun, I just don't feel the same as I imagined or used to think it would be like. How weird. But when i went to NUS to visit my friends last year, the same image fits perfectly again. The people did look quite grown up, the fun i imagined they had with their hallmates and coursemates seemed to exist, and all other tings fit into the picture very well too. So what is wrong? Am i really different from them now? Am i missing out something? Am i still in pace with them?
I really wonder, how my life would be if I had chosen to stay in Singapore. I'm very sure it'll be so so so different. At the very least I can go watch a movie as and when i like in the comfort of the big cinemas at Suntec or Orchard cineleisure or Plaza Singapura. I can imagine myself waking up earli in the morning and take the MRT all the way from the east to Buona Vista, and then taking the SBS bus to sch. I can imagine the workload and stress I'ld be facing, and complaining abt them with my good friends in my course. I would probably loiter ard in sch if i ever have any breaktime and tok cok with my gang of friends, just crapping and not making sense and laughing bimbotic-ly. I probably would be busy dating too... or crying my heart out. I probably would enjoy clubbing much more. I probably... probably... These are just guesses. Unreal.
I am not saying i regret coming to London. I never regretted because I can see what I've gained that many usually don't have the opportunity to. I'm just wondering... thinking about how much I've missed out. And how different I am now with some of my friends. Sometimes, I would even consider doing an exchange with NUS. haha.. tat realli sounds dumb, but for the sake of experiencing what i've always thought i would experience since young, it is an option isn't it?
Maybe i just miss home.
Other than that, here's a quote from
heart_w|sh^'s blog, another blog which i stumbled upon.
"
What about you? Are you the happiest and saddest right now that you've ever been? Of course I am. Why? Because nothing makes me happier and nothing makes me sadder than you."
How true it is...

Do what You Want to Dowas just reading a random blog, that i stumbled upon while clicking on the link of a link of a link of a link of a link of my friend's blog... yeah u get the idea. tat's how aimless i was. anyway, this particular blog belongs to a girl whom i think lives in a part of the world which i've never ever come across and even doubt its existence. Academic background, social circles, perspectives of life, love relationship.... everything. It's so different that i was actually traumatised while reading her blog. I'm not exaggerating here.... i was really quite traumatised. i can feel the strain in my heart as i read her blog. I just couldn't believe it's a real blog, and of someone my age too. I thought I'm reading a novel... or watching a movie. The things that happened are just so unbelievable. I'm not going to elaborate or talk about her life because i feel that that is her privacy. But... the shock i got from reading her blog... it just leaves my eyes and mouth wide open.
But well, other than the unbelievable stuff and all, there is one thing she wrote that strikes me. '人要笑过,哭过,疯过,错过才算活过。' (ren yao xiao guo, ku guo, feng guo, cuo guo cai suan huo guo) Maybe while one is still young, one really should go all the way and try out whatever one is interested in trying, no matter how crazy or how wrong people deemed it to be. Well, excluding anything illegal or harmful to others, of course. Maybe one shouldn't hide the wildness in one and should just go crazy once in a while, ignoring if it's wrong in the "society's view", ignoring whatever consequences it'll have...

a very beautiful and handsome picture here, especially for sasuke's fan!! :)

pinky? Not me!Just to clarify... i do like the pink on my blog, but it only just so happened to be pink!!! if it's blue, i would like it as much too!! heh... so.... dun worry abt me being a pink fanatic, or turning my room pink, or becoming pinkish.... cos as i said b4, i'm not a fan of pink. :p so this is really where the pink stops. heh... (Charlotte help!!!!)
my screwed up sleeping cycle and laziness make me missed several lectures and tutorials... really dowan it this way, but even the alarm clock is against me today. didn't bother to ring. i guess i do haf alot of work to catch up... especially since recent work are all so new and complicated, dun really have any idea what they are talking abt. and i hafen been paying attention even if i'm physically at the lecture theatre. -_-"

Happy V-Day!"I DO, AGAIN Been there, done that but... Still crazy in love."An article from The New Paper which obviously is written for Valentine's Day. It's a really sweet article... and gives everyone hope.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Or... Happy Friendship Day? That was how it was celebrated when we were in JC wasn't it? ;)
Lovely blogi really like my new blog alot. heh... much better than the straws or the cyan-ish amateur-looking fridge ya?? and... i like the ease of customising blogspot's template~ heh... not advertising for blogger k.... ;P
i like the layout.. although i'm not a fan of pink, this pink doesn't realli turn me off. it gives a sweet, elegant, soft, soothing effect. i love the rose especially, with 'sparkles twinkling' around it... gives a magical feeling ya?? the faint background picture seems to imply that what you see is not all, there could be a story behind the simple appearance. And finally the word "Rosy Dreams..." ok, this is not exactly what i wanted, it comes with the blogskin. But i like its font... and i guess it is time i start having rosy dreams too...
heh... i just feel like adding more entries. otherwise it seems pretty empty...

Everything will be alrightWell... nothing much to say actually. But for those who read the previous entry which has now been taken off, it was written only in a fit of anger. So... not really a credible entry that make any sense. Please forget what was written. Nor discuss about it, if you know what i mean. Thanx.
And... I am feeling slightly better? Pardon me if I couldn't smile or if i suddenly burst in tears (which i think i wouldn't now... hopefully). I know I'll be ok... just a matter of time. Yeah... so don't worry.
It was supposed to have ended peacefully. With no one bearing any hard feeling for the other. With a new beginning, things should have all come to an end. We probably would still be good frens.
But... why did you make things worse? Why do you have to tell me those... I said before, either tell me the truth, or lie to me for the rest of my life. Why make me lost all hopes... why make me feel so foolish... why hurt me so deeply...
i dowan to end up hating you. i really dowan.
