新年快?！

haha... a little bit late, but still in time. hee... HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!! 祝大家新年快乐，心想事成，学业进步，生意兴隆，年年高升，事事顺利，身体健康，万事如意！?啊！

i've got not much time here... so juz gonna have a little short update on my reunion dinner last night. We bought all the ingredients for steamboat from Chinatown... got the usual stuff, i.e. crabstick, meat, eggs, veg, vermicelli, fishball, meatball and cant rmb what else lah... then on top of that, we oso got guo tie and tang yuan!!! whee... so looking forward to the steamboat!!

and so it's dinner time, and the soup for the steamboat is ready. Time to fry some guo tie b4 we start eating. And at this very moment, the most unexpected thing happened. The lights suddenly went off.. everyone who were in their rooms, except those still sleeping, came out with torchlights and wondered what happened at this time on the eve of CNY. It is a blackout... no electricity in the house. And our flat is the only one in the block which kena, cos the other flats are with a different electricity supplier. What great timing.

Well... we can say we are lucky that it didn't happen when we are happily tucking away and while waiting for the meat to cook. So the long-awaited steamboat was postponed to the next day, and we went to OC for our 'reunion dinner'. k lah, at least we didn't had it in KFC, which we almost did. haha....

after that... some went for mahjong session at sebas's place and some to grace's place for another mahjong session but no money involved. =P yeah... you can guess i went to the latter one.

and thankfully the electricity supply was back by midnight. yay! so we went back home to watch some TV to keep ourselves awake to 守岁 before falling asleep finally at near 4am, cos we cant take it anymore. haha...

that's how we welcomed our doggy CNY~ ^^
