Universal Studio Singapore!

It's the first time I stepped into Universal Studio. (uhuh...)
It's the first time I stepped into an amusement park. (what!??)
It's the first time I took a roller coaster ride!!!! (HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!???)

hahahaha.. HOW EXCITING CAN!!! I dunno what I was thinking... perhaps the publicity did it. I didn't even go to Alton Towers nor Thorpe Park in UK... nor Disneyland in Paris or Japan... But I actually decided to PAY the super expensive ticket and spend one full day in Universal Studio Sentosa!! I definitely wasn't thinking.

So without thinking, I took the day off and spent it there. For the first time, I entered an amusement park. For the first time, I was awed by the architectures and the various themes the area was portraying. And for the.. well.. I guess not first time, I was hoping around like a little girl exclaiming and pointing at every single castle and buildings and rides and characters with excitement! haha...

AAAND with such adrenalin, and perhaps also the costly entrance fee, I decided to test my limits and nervously joined the queue for the roller coaster ride!!!!

Ok, I should be honest. I was referring to the JUNIOR roller coaster ride. Yes, the one for kids.

Let's face it. The corkscrews red and blue roller coaster rides are simply too advanced for a total noob, right? Moreover, it was closed for maintenance. So I couldn't hop on them. Okok.. even if they were not closed, I think I won't ever have such guts or courage to court after death. So, the junior one was all I could handle and it was enough to make me giddy after my virgin ride. I attributed it to the adrenalin I've self-induced before taking the ride.

After that, we moved on to the various other rides and attractions with less acceleration, but still exciting enough to make my heart race!! Those dazzling fire effects & bright sparks and the deafening thunder, gun shots & explosions are so bright and loud that I had to either watch through my sunglasses and cover my ears, or closed my eyes and still with the ears covered. I think I'll otherwise get blinded and my heart will jump out. So I missed quite a bit of action, which is a pity.. but I am still very impressed by them!!

Of course, how can an amusement park exist without some photo opportunities?? I am so happy to catch Shrek + Princess (oh man the princess is sweating like mad but still damn chio) and the MADAGASCAR characters!!! oh man.. they are damn funny & cute!!

And we are so so lucky. The moment the clock hits 6pm, the moment the park close shop, it started to pour like crazy. And thanks to the shelters and umbrella services, we got back to our car almost dry.

So to conclude the day, I hereby declare I am super proud of my achievement to have taken the JUNIOR roller coaster ride TWICE! And that my most favourite ride in the whole of USS is the Canopy Flyer at The Lost World! I can go on it for a third time... the next time!! =)
