Laziness can killThere was once a lazy man who only lay on the bed and had everything done for him by his mum. One day, the mum had to leave the house for several days. Worried that the man will not have any food, the mum made a gigantic cookie and hung it around his neck so that he can reach for it easily when he is hungry. Several days later, the mum returns but found that the man had died of starvation. The gigantic cookie was only half eaten. The man was too lazy to use his hand to move the huge cookie closer to his mouth hence he died.
Heard of this story? Ridiculous, unbelievable right? This can only happen in stories isn't it?
There is just one such person that I know of. And it is sooo heartbreaking and disappointing. I can't understand why it is so difficult to put in the effort to save oneself. If you don't even make any effort to save yourself, why should others save you? Help don't just fall from the sky. Don't lament when you are in the state you are in and blame others or complain abt others being cold and hard and not willing to help you. They are not obliged to do so. If you don't even try to do something about it, you don't deserve any help at all. You are just a useless lazy bum waiting to die. Like the man in the story.
